[Case 2] Improvement of the R edge of the bending die increased its lifespan by more than four times.

The "polishing" of the edge leads to a dramatic increase in the number of shots.

This is a successful case where improving the R edge of the bending die dramatically extended the operating time of the production line. Before the improvement, the bending die reached its limit with a shot count of 20,000 to 30,000. We applied a special polishing process to round off the connection of the R section. As a result, the previously sharp areas became smooth, and the shot count improved to 120,000. This is a good example of simultaneously achieving a reduction in regular maintenance costs and an increase in productivity. *Here are the specific processing methods that achieved dramatic lifespan improvement.
